How Context Makes All the Difference

Increased global competition is driving businesses to adopt new technologies to enhance existing processes and enable new business models, new revenue streams, and greater interactions with partners and customers through Digital Transformation. Service-based business IT, however, is not without challenges, particularly around access governance and control, which can reduce business agility and velocity. The adoption of API driven digital services dramatically increases the potential attack surface by enabling cybercriminals to automate attacks if the API identity and authorization risks are not fully understood and addressed.

These challenges can be addressed by using Dynamic Authorization and Governance orchestrating policy-based authorization engines and cybersecurity to create a Zero Trust approach to security. Externalizing identity and access controls from applications and using centralized policies with distributed enforcement allows organizations to reduce development costs, time to market, and time to value, while simplifying compliance with secure, flexible reporting and audit.
