Danny Hughes is Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of VersaSense, an award-winning Internet of Things company, based in Leuven, Belgium, that provides the world’s first truly end-to-end and plug-and-play Internet of Things fabric. Danny is also a Professor with KU Leuven (Belgium), where he leads the Networked Embedded Software taskforce within the DistriNet research group. His technology interests include: security, networking, middleware and hardware/software co-design. Danny holds a PhD from Lancaster University (UK) and has since worked in the USA, China, Brazil and Belgium.
