The technology of digital identity will define personal power and opportunity in the information era. Hellō co-founder Dick Hardt is a veteran builder of identity technology. With 30+ years of open source and digital identity development experience as a pivotal contributor to the Perl and Python languages, as well as in launching the OpenID Foundation and OAuth Specification, Hardt has a uniquely practical perspective on the challenges facing society in the 2020s. Hardt lives in Seattle with his wife, Jennifer, and their dog, who enjoy a stunning view quickly disappearing behind the rising Amazon campus in the South Lake Union district.
