Jose Manuel Cantera holds a Master's Degree with honors in Computer Science from the University of Valladolid (Spain). He has also completed different specialization courses on Economics, Applied Research and GIS. Currently, he is a Technical Analyst and Project Lead at IOTA Foundation. He is leading and contributing to different research, innovation, and collaboration projects, with a view to the adoption and standardization of IOTA Technologies in different industrial domains, particularly Global Trade and Supply Chains. José has more than 20 years of experience and has played different technical roles in international innovation projects, multi-company joint-ventures, standards organizations and open source software initiatives (Firefox, FIWARE). He has also participated as a software architect and senior expert in several strategic projects related to the EU ICT research and innovation programs
