Ioannis Chrysakis

Mr. Ioannis Chrysakis is an ICT Expert working currently as a senior R&D Engineer in the Information Systems Laboratory of the Institute of Computer Science, FORTH.
He is Publicity Manager of the CAPrice community: a community-driven approach to raise privacy awareness. He is also Engagement Manager in the NGI-Trust funded project CAP-A,
which aims in evaluating the privacy in mobile applications through crowdsourcing.

In parallel, he is PhD Candidate in Information Engineering Technology at the University of Ghent and member of IDLab (Internet and Data Lab) which is a core research group of imec.
His research interests lie in the areas of semantic web, linked open data, crowdsourcing and digital privacy.

Ioannis has published several research papers in international peer-reviewed conferences and workshops. He has been also member of program committee in several scientific events.

Ioannis has given several talks regarding applying collective intelligence and innovation practises to the data privacy domain.
