Imen is Network Data scientist, responsible for the coordination of “AI & Networks” within the “Core and End to End Network” department. In addition, Imen is Research Project Leader on end to end Network Intelligence. She received her PhD degree in Telecommunication Networks from Pierre et Marie Curie University in 2008. Her current research interests are AI for network operations and orchestration in the context of sliced and software networks. It mainly includes advanced machine learning application to guarantee SLA and ensure QoE, anticipate and prevent from network and service anomalies, recommend through interactive learning the optimal network configurations, etc. Imen is currently Chair of the Network Intelligence Initiative (http://ni.committees.comsoc.org/officers/) within the IEEE COMSOC Framework. She piloted and contributed to several European research projects like Servery, FP7 UniverSelf, the H2020 CogNet and currently the 5G SliceNet.
Imen authored several scientific conference and journal papers in those research domains. She is active speaker in AI & Network related events, conferences and workshops (aiNet, IM, NOMS, MLdays, etc).
