Franklin Garrigues

As Vice President, Digital Channels, Franklin leads several developments aiming to transform how the bank interacts with its employees and customers. He is responsible for ideation, development, delivery, and deployment of solutions that contribute to this agenda. Among his projects, he leads the effort to "mobilize" TD Bank employees on a North American basis; untethering and empowering employees, enhancing digital fluency across the enterprise, and increasing productivity. Franklin also champions the Digital ID agenda for the enterprise, with a focus on building and delivering a platform that will transform how Canadians assert their identity in the digital world.

Prior to this role, Franklin held various Risk Management roles in Direct Channels and Business Banking, and also led several Branch Services Centres in Canada. Prior to joining TD in 2008, Franklin was a consultant with McKinsey & Company where he served as a leader in the North American Financial Institutions Operations practice. He has also worked with L’Oreal in various General Management roles in manufacturing plant operations in France.

Franklin is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University with a Masters of Business Administration. He also holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Superieure D’Electricite.

In his personal time, Franklin volunteers at local charities across the Greater Toronto Area through Social Venture Partners Toronto, where he has been a board member since 2012. Franklin’s leisure activities include skating, sailing, and spending time with his wife and three children.
