Kaius is CTO for Tilaajavastuu, a company jointly owned by the employer organisations of the Finnish real estate and construction industry. In an expanded role he is leading an initiative to bring the identities of the European construction-industry workforce onto the open-source QVARN platform (with GLUU authentication) that his team has developed and brought into use in the Nordic and Baltic regions. For the past two decades Kaius has served in a variety of CEO and CTO positions, with a focus on providing remote monitoring services on a global scale. His strong role in security-related affairs is underpinned by a previous military career in the Finnish Defence Force.
