With over 15 years of experience in IAM and Cybersecurity, Christopher advises clients on strategic and technical levels, focusing on compliance, risk management, and cybersecurity governance. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership. Christopher is also a seasoned speaker and moderator at KuppingerCole and industry events.
Christopher Schuetze is the Chief of Advisory and CISO at KuppingerCole. He is responsible for leading the Advisory Team, focusing on developing tailored cybersecurity strategies and concepts that meet client needs. As a member of the Executive Team, Christopher contributes to shaping KuppingerCole’s strategic direction and advancing its role as a leading analyst firm.
In his role as CISO, Christopher established KuppingerCole’s internal cybersecurity strategy, achieving ISO 27001 and TISAX certifications. He continues to oversee and enhance the organization’s security and risk management framework, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations, including DORA, to build trust and operational resilience.
Christopher graduated from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with a master's degree in computer science, specializing in software engineering and telematics. He has extensive experience in infrastructure and cloud technologies and holds certifications such as CISSP and PRINCE2 Agile.
Before joining KuppingerCole, Christopher was Head of Cloud Security at an auditing company and worked with two integrators for identity and access management. He has provided technical and strategic support to clients across a variety of projects, specializing in developing compliant, scalable, and risk-aware security solutions for complex environments.
