Berthold Kerl Global Head of Identity and Access

Berthold studied economics and computer sciences and has more than 25 years of senior-level experience in the IT Industry incl. 10 years in global information security management.
He started his career as a Consultant where he made his first experience in the financial services industry working on projects for banks and insurance companies. From 1993 to 2002 he was responsible as Head of European SAP Practice Financial Services with CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation) for implementing standard software mainly in banks, insurances and other financial services companies. Since 2002 Berthold has been working with Deutsche Bank. During this time he held various senior leadership positions such as CIO for access channels, Head of IT Transformation or Head of Information security and IT Governance. In his current role Berthold is responsible for Identity and Access Management at Deutsche Bank group-wide.
