Daria Meyer

Daria Meyer is highly experienced Information Security, IT Security, and IT Risk leader, seasoned general manager, skilled and recognized professional, who has know-how in operating within complex and regulated global business environments. Daria has nearly 20 years of security experience and knowledge in all aspects of Information Security, IT Security (technology) & Information Risk management in different senior leadership roles, in diverse industries (Service Providers: IBM, Dimension Data; Life Science: Novartis, Sonova; Logistics & Transport: Panalpina; FinTech: Swisscard (Joint Venture of Credit Suisse & AMEX)).

She thrives on challenges and welcomes opportunities to lead, to manage change and large security environments, to develop and achieve results and outcomes. Her last 3 roles were: Divisional CISO at Novartis Pharma (the largest Business Unit), Global CISO at Panalpina, Global CISO at Swisscard and currently she is Global CISO at Sonova (Medical Device company).

One of her major achievements and accomplished goals in those roles was that she has successfully built modern CISO functions from the green field with the required skills, governance, and technologies, as well as established solid partnership with business and the Boards to support business objectives and strategy.

Daria is actively engaged with well-established global Information Security Network and involved in different working groups, initiatives, and activities, such as: ESAF, SIGS, Women in Cyber, Richmond IT Forum, ISF, Executive Women’s Forum. Daria is a former member of the Microsoft Advisory Board. Daria holds a bachelor’s degree in network and Telecom engineering from the University of Haute Alsace in Mulhouse, France; and a diploma in International Relationships, Politics & Diplomacy from the University of Moscow, Russia.
