Martin Sandren is a CISSP certified security architect who has been active in the IAM industry for more than ten years. He is currently the Enterprise Security Architect at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts in Boston. Previous roles have included inhouse and consulting positions in the US as well as Europe. In his current position Martin architected and oversaw the reimplementation of the BCBS identity and access management system using the IBM IAM stack. Duties also include high level security architecture and architectural review of all major initiatives. In his previous consultancy roles Martin delivered four large and several smaller successful identity management implementation projects at Fortune 500 clients, leading project teams of between 4 and 15 people These projects touched between 50,000 and 100,000 users and averaged between 500,000 and 1,000 000 USD in revenue. Martin is originally from Sweden and currently resides in the US but has also lived in Germany as well as the UK which has given him an international perspective on IAM and information security issues.
