AI and Cybersecurity in the Age of Quantum Computing

Topics of the Day:
#1 Cybersecurity in the Age of Quantum Computing
The first real breakthroughs in quantum computing occurred in 2019. Calculations which are not based on classical physics, i.e. on or off, but on the basis of quantum mechanical states theoretically allow many parallel calculations. On the other hand, our current security in networks is based on the assumption that the decryption of data or data streams does not take place within a few seconds or minutes, but rather would take many centuries. Quantum Computing would destroy all encryption and security that we know today. What does this mean for cybersecurity?
#2 The Strange Entanglement between Quantum and Brain
Consciousness has been invoked as ultimate cause of quantum decisions while quantum mechanics has been invoked to explain consciousness. What is it that is entangling these two fields, quantum and brain? Are they both just trying to hide the deep mystery of their own field behind that of the other? Be that as it may, valuable insights can be gained from spelling out the analogy between the processes of quantum measurement and conscious perception.

Determined cyber attackers will nearly always find a way into company systems and networks using tried and trusted techniques. It is therefore essential to assume breach and have the capability to identify, analyze, and neutralize cyber-attacks before they can do any serious damage.
