Martin Sckopke is Lead IT Security Architect at Lufthansa Group, where he is responsible for guiding the security architecture strategy across the organization and advising executive leadership on cybersecurity architecture and risk. He leads a team of security architects supporting major transformation initiatives, ranging from infrastructure modernization and cloud adoption to digital innovation programs also within the Lufthansa Group Digital Hangar.
With more than 40 years of experience in information technology and over two decades at Lufthansa Group, Martin has extensive expertise in enterprise security architecture, governance, identity and access management, and Zero Trust strategies. As a member of IATA’s Cybersecurity Innovation Study Group, he actively collaborates with industry peers to advance cybersecurity best practices across the aviation sector.
Martin holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and lives near Frankfurt, Germany, with his family. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf.
