Prof. Dr. David Chadwick Professor of Information Systems Security

University of Kent

Prof David Chadwick has been working in identity management for over 20 years and has written over a 100 papers on the topic. He was the chief architect and designer of the PERMIS open source authorisation system that supported SAML and X.509 attribute certificates.
More recently he has been an invited expert to the W3C Verifiable Credential Working Group and is a co-author of the Proposed Recommendation "Verifiable Credentials Data Model"
Dr Karim Tobich, Iotic Labs, has been working within the cybersecurity field for 14 years. He started his career working for manufacturer and certification bodies within the payment and passport industries designing and assessing the security of their products. He currently works as Security lead at Iotic Labs and more recently joined the British Standards Institution (BSI) as a committee member of the SC41 Internet of Things and related technologies and the SC27 Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection.
