Adam Cooper is lead technical architect for the Identity Assurance Programme within Government Digital Service, part of the UK Cabinet Office.
Responsible for the overall technical architecture of the UK eID service, GOV.UK Verify, Adam is also an expert contributor to the eIDAS Regulation regarding cross-border eID, large scale EU pilots (e.g. STORK & eSENS), and a contributor to international standards with groups such as OASIS, FIDO Alliance, ISO, ETSI and the W3C.
Adam has previously been the lead architect for multiple UK National Health Service programmes and worked in the private sector for many years defining architecture for leading digital agencies.
