Wolfgang Zwerch

Wolfgang Zwerch was born in 1971 and studied Computer Science at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. He has over 30 years' experience in various IT security areas. Prior to joining Munich Re, he worked for CSC as a leading consultant in IT security and identity management for almost 10 years. At Munich Re, he was responsible for the initial IAM implementation project and other security-related topics. He worked for several years for the second line of defence, where he was involved in creating global guidelines covering regulatory requirements as well as IAM-related KPI/KRIs. Since 2025, he has led the global Munich Re IAM strategy.
