Carla Echevarria

Carla is a leader in User Experience Design, having led teams at Google, Facebook, and other tech companies. She's also a domain expert in designing for artificial intelligence systems. She is currently the Design Lead for the Google Assistant, Google's most advanced consumer AI product. Prior to that role, Carla was the inventor and design lead for Facebook Crisis Response, one of social media's most useful platforms, which enables people to notify their friends that they are safe, during an emergency. Carla teaches Design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
