Sonja Schimanski

Sonja Schimanski is Divisional Head Cyber Risk & NFR at Commerzbank AG. She is responsible for steering Operational Risks in close connection with the Internal Control System Framework together with Cyber Risks from one single source. With her teams Sonja for example develops a framework to quantify Cyber Risks as well as strengthen the bank’s resilience through Pentests with a risk-oriented view. Previously, Sonja spent around 20 years in the Credit Risk Area of Commerzbank in various positions. Sonja holds a Bachelor of Arts and lives in Frankfurt.
