Alex Takakuwa is a PhD student at the University of Washington. For the last six years he has been conducting research with the guidance of his renowned advisor, Professor Tadayoshi Kohno. During this time, he has done work related to driver privacy, signal processing, and authentication. Currently,  he is working with FIDO Alliance members and the W3C WebAuthn Working Group members on "Recovering from Lost Devices in the FIDO/WebAuthn Ecosystem
