Marisa Rogers

Marisa Rogers is the Windows & Devices Privacy Officer at Microsoft.  In the role, Rogers brings a customer-centric mindset to lead a team charged with planning and implementation for new privacy regulations, engineering new privacy features, as well as ensuring the division’s products and services meet or exceed expected quality standards.

She actively participates in Microsoft’s privacy community to share best practices and vet privacy policy implementation.  Previously she held the company’s Global Sales & Marketing and HR Privacy Manager positions with responsibility for supporting global field sales and marketing teams and the company’s global employee data protection policy and program respectively.  Rogers brings over 14 years of expertise in privacy and data protection and works closely with Microsoft’s chief privacy officer to share best practices and influence decisions on company policy and standards.  Prior to Microsoft, she spent six years with Accenture as a business process consultant.

Rogers holds a B.A. in Business Administration from University of Washington and has been a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) since 2005 with the International Association of Privacy Professionals holding CIPP/US and CIPM certifications.  In 2016 she was awarded Fellow of Information Privacy status (FIP).
