Privileged access management was built around the administrator. That model no longer matches reality. Today's environments are populated by service accounts, API tokens, CI/CD bots, OAuth credentials, and a growing number of AI agents. In many organizations they far outnumber human users, and most were provisioned once and rarely reviewed again.
These identities are commonly grouped under the label "non-human identities", but they are not equal. A workload identity or functional account behaves predictably and can be governed accordingly. An AI agent acts autonomously, makes decisions, and can chain actions across systems, so it needs different controls. Treating them alike leaves gaps that attackers are quick to find.
Those gaps are part of a wider pattern of identity blind spots. This webinar examines five categories: non-human identity sprawl, human identity failures, cloud and shadow access, detection and governance gaps, and the absence of integrated identity providers and privileged access management. It is not a question of whether attackers will find them, but whether you find and remediate them first.
Martin Kuppinger, Founder and Principal Analyst at KuppingerCole Analysts, will explain why PAM must evolve beyond the administrator. He will show how traditional admin accounts, business-privileged users, workload identities, and AI agents differ in risk and control requirements, and what a modern PAM approach needs to cover to protect against cyber-attacks.
Morey J. Haber, Chief Security Advisor at BeyondTrust, will provide a practical perspective on the attack vectors behind these blind spots. He will outline how organizations can improve visibility, enforce least privilege, and strengthen governance across their identity attack surface, including AI agents and other non-human identities.
Who Should Attend
This webinar is designed for CISOs, IAM and PAM leaders, security architects, and IT security professionals responsible for securing privileged access across human, machine, and AI agent identities.
