Why Endpoint Management is Key

Now is the time to implement the Zero Trust security model because the traditional model of enforcing security at the network perimeter is no longer effective. However, moving from theory into practice can be challenging unless you start with a key element like effective endpoint management.

Endpoint visibility, knowing who is accessing what with which device and the security posture of that device, is a useful entry point and key building block of Zero Trust, according to Martin Kuppinger, Principal Analyst at KuppingerCole and Zac Warren, Senior Director Cybersecurity Advisory, EMEA at Tanium. Join these experts for a discussion about the role endpoint management plays in a Zero Trust strategy.

Speakers Contribution

Martin Kuppinger will share insights about the value and adoption of the Zero Trust security model, give some actionable advice on how to get started, and explain the importance of building the right technology portfolio. He will also discuss why the device is key to authentication, the requirements of modern endpoint management, and the role they play in achieving Zero Trust.

He will be joined by Zac Warren, who will explain how to integrate endpoint management and security with every IT workflow that relies on endpoint data, and discuss the value of verifying users, devices and endpoint software in supporting Zero Trust. He will also explain why the focus of Zero Trust is shifting from the network to the endpoint.

Zac Warren is Senior Director of Cybersecurity Advisory in EMEA. Zac started his career in IT with a passion for cybersecurity and was a senior security analyst at a leading manufacturer of security platforms and later a cybersecurity architect and consultant for large system integrators. Zac...
