Dr. Ioannis Krontiris is a senior researcher in the Deutsche Telekom Chair of Mobile Business & Multilateral Security at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. He holds a PhD in computer science from Mannheim University, Germany, an MSc in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University, USA, and a Diploma in computer engineering from Technical University of Crete, Greece. His research focuses on system architectures that incorporate privacy enhancing technologies in real-life applications, not only in the online world but also in the pervasive environment.
