Clemens Jochum studied Chemistry and Mathematics at the University of Munich. After earning his PhD in 1978, he spent four years in scientific research at the University of Washington in Seattle, the last two of them as Director of the Laboratory for Chemometrics.
He also teaches Information Management in the Department of Business Administration / House of Finance at the Goethe-University in Frankfurt. He is Vice Chairman and Board Member of the E-Finance-Lab.
Clemens Jochum resigned from Deutsche Bank in July 2008 to dedicate more time to academic teaching and research. He is also a venture partner / IT consultant in Viewpoint Capital Partners, a Private Equity company in Frankfurt.
