Axel was a founder and board member of the Information Card Foundation and he served on the board of the OpenID Foundation. His dayjob allows him to work on user-centric identity, enterprise identity management and identity in service architectures. He contributes to W3C working groups and OIDF working groups with a focus on the MODRNA WG. At GSMA he contributes to the Personal Data Programme and the Mobile Identity Programme. GSMA’s 5G Identity and Access Management group was founded on his initiative.
