Christopher Tullis is a Senior Digital Specialist at the World Bank, where he leads the digital identity portfolio across the European and Central Asian regions. Globally, he has played a central role in advancing the Bank’s Identification for Development (ID4D) initiative, and has published work on digital identity, trust services, cloud computing, and data governance. For over a decade, he has advised governments across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa on digital transformation strategies and enabling legal frameworks. Most recently, he has been leading the World Bank’s work on digital ID wallets and cross-border mutual recognition with the EU.
