Miki Brotzler, GAICD is a senior product and technology leader based in Melbourne with more than twenty years’ experience in digital identity, customer authentication, product strategy, software delivery, and governance. She is Senior Product Manager for Customer Authentication and Digital Identity at National Australia Bank, where she leads secure, customer-centred authentication work in a highly regulated environment—balancing fraud and assurance requirements, regulatory obligations, and enterprise delivery. Miki is the former Chair and continuing Board Director of IDPro, the international professional association for digital identity practitioners, where she has helped steer strategy, governance uplift, and professionalisation of the field.
Miki brings boards and audiences a rare mix of technical depth, product leadership, and governance discipline across banking, government-aligned identity services, international member associations, and the arts. Her speaking themes naturally span digital identity and authentication, biometrics, assurance and trust, digital estates, technology risk, and practical AI use and governance in the SDLC. She also draws on cross-sector board experience—including music and opera organisations—and a background in creative direction and performance, which informs how she talks about stakeholder alignment, ethics, and trustworthy innovation.
