Dean H. Saxe is a Principal Security Engineer at Remitly and an identity standards architect. At Remitly, he leads the IAM security strategy across consumer, enterprise, partner, and workload identity.
At the OpenID Foundation (OIDF), Dean co-chairs the Death and Digital Estate Community Group (DADE CG), which he co-founded to address the largely unsolved problem of managing your digital data posthumously. DADE CG recently published a white paper and planning guide to help individuals, enterprises, and identity providers navigate this emerging space. He previously co-chaired both the FIDO Alliance Enterprise Deployment Working Group and the OIDF IPSIE Working Group.
Dean is a founding member of IDPro, a contributor to the IDPro Body of Knowledge, and co-leads the IDPro Happy Hour in Seattle where he helps build a professional community for identity practitioners in the Pacific Northwest.
Outside of his work, Dean is passionate about traveling the world, cycling, camping, board games, food and drink, and spending time with his wife, two kids, and dog.
