Stefan Peschel

Stefan joined Munich Re in 1998. He is one of the early adopters of the IAM system for SAP systems and Active Directory at Munich RE with more than 35 years IT experience thereof 15 years in IAM. He designed and implemented the process for application life cycle management in IAM from the very early stage. He worked on the pilot for outsourcing applications and was involved in several IAM projects in various roles (developer, service manager and senior service manager). Since 2010, he has been the IT product manager for the IAM system (from Active Entry 4.2 to One Identity 8.x; the update to version 9.x is ongoing). He is now a subject matter expert for the 'Application Lifecycle Management in IAM' topic. Stefan has a PhD in Chemistry and studied Computer Science at the University of Marburg.
