Wolfgang Studier has been a security expert in the Secure Systems Engineering department at Fraunhofer AISEC since 2018. He earned his master's degree in computer science with a focus on IT security from the Freie Universität Berlin in 2017. He currently leads the Identity Management research group at AISEC, focusing on digital identities and mobile security. In addition to these core topics, Wolfgang has broad experience in vulnerability and incident management, security analysis of systems and applications (particularly for mobile devices), and secure software development lifecycle processes. He also serves as vice president of deSEC e.V., a Berlin-based non-profit organization that provides free, secure DNS hosting services with a focus on DNSSEC to enhance internet security.
