Praneet Chandra is the Identity & Access Management (IAM) Service Owner at SPAR ICS, the IT division of the SPAR Austria Group, an organization operating across six European countries, generating over €10 billion in annual revenue and supporting a workforce of more than 91,000 employees. In this dynamic environment, Praneet oversees identity ecosystems that span over 100,000 workforce identities and millions of customer accounts.
With more than two decades of experience across infrastructure, middleware, security, and IAM, Praneet brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise and business insight. Over the past 12 years, he has been at the forefront of IAM transformation shaping enterprise wide strategies, architecting scalable solutions, and leading complex initiatives that bridge technology with real world business needs.
Today, he leads the end to end vision and execution of Workplace IAM at SPAR, driving the next generation of identity platforms and programs across international operations, helping the organization stay secure, agile, and future ready in an increasingly digital world.
Beyond the enterprise, Praneet’s passion for connection extends globally and locally alike. A dedicated traveller, he seeks out new cultures and perspectives around the world, while at home he invests in the next generation as the head coach of a local Salzburg U15 football team.
