Dr. Kashyap Thimmaraju is a security researcher driven by a passion for human-centered cybersecurity. He founded the Flow Guard Institute to focus on improving mental health and performance in cybersecurity through Flow States and leads the research group at the Mental Health in Cybersecurity Foundation. Dr. Thimmaraju’s research spans areas including network, web, software, and system security, as well as quantum key distribution and telecommunications. Recognized with two best paper awards in network security, his work has uncovered vulnerabilities in network software (JUNOS, Open vSwitch, ONOS) and protocols (OpenFlow, P4Runtime, QUIC, O-RAN). With over 15 years of experience at Juniper Networks, Telekom Innovation Laboratories, and TU Berlin, Dr. Thimmaraju is a dedicated contributor and frequent speaker at conferences and panels like USENIX ATC, IEEE EuroS&P, OSS and ACM SOSR.
