Rainer has a profound understanding of the impact of AI on identity threats and the ways AI can enhance defenders' detection capabilities. His continuous engagement with potential buyers of Cybersecurity solutions allows him to bridge the gap between vendor offerings and customer needs effectively. Before joining Veridium, Rainer was the Executive Vice President at Avira, the largest German Cybersecurity company, acquired by NortonLifeLock. His career includes significant roles at international software companies such as Rational Software (acquired by IBM for $2.1 billion) and Matra Datavision (acquired by Dassault Systems), as well as various start-ups. In these roles, he led customer-facing teams including Sales, Marketing, Consulting, and Customer Success. Rainer holds an honors degree in engineering and has furthered his education at the St. Gallen Business School.
