In February 2005 Johannes Lechner joined Premiere Fernsehen GmbH & Co. KG, the leading premium TV provider in Germany and Austria, and has held the position of Director IM Service Management since then. He was appointed Group IT Security Officer the same year. His prime objectives are service level and security management in the multi-vendor IT outsourcing environment of Premiere, with a strong focus on system stability and reliable ITIL based service processes.
In his previous position Johannes Lechner was responsible for the IT de-partment of the German Hoerbiger group for over 5 years. Before that he held – among others - positions as Senior IT Project Manager with ABB In-formatik GmbH and VW Gedas GmbH. In these positions he managed large SAP and other implementation projects.
Johannes Lechner holds a Master Degree of Electrical Engineering of the Technical University of Munich.
