Lavanya Sita Tekumalla received a masters from the University of Utah in 2005 and Ph.D. in Machine Learning from the Indian Institute of Science in 2016. In her career spanning over 15 years, she has applied Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing to a variety of problems across enterprises such as Amazon, Xerox Research Labs, Netapp and startups such as InMobi, Myntra and Andromeda. She has worked extensively with finding patterns and anomalous behavior from text data, application logs, device logs, network storage logs such as block I/O traces among others producing many patents and publications in top conferences such as the World Wide Web(WWW), SIAM Data Mining(SDM), European Conference on Machine Learning(ECML) among others. Lavanya is also a core committee member of ACM SIGKDD India Chapter. At Andromeda, she is currently working on deriving actionable insights from terabytes of cloud provider logs leveraging Large Language Models.
