Gena Morgan has been with GS1 and GS1 US for 22 years playing a key role in many industry initiatives. As a strategic consultant, Gena has worked with various industries, consortiums and technical communities in defining requirements, developing technical interface standards and guidelines, focused on data quality, traceability and supply chain visibility. Today, she works with the Innovation teams with GS1 US and Global Office to explore the intersection of standards and emerging technologies to continually drive efficiencies in today’s complex supply chains, in areas such as blockchain, digital identity, as well as strategic initiative development and implementation with numerous industries.
Gena joined the GS1 Community after beginning her career as a buyer and merchandiser in women’s apparel and an IT consultant.
