Cornelia Schwertner spent ten years as a compliance management consultant and money laundering/anti-fraud officer in the classic world of financial services before joining Fintech figo GmbH in 2016. Here she accompanies the implementation processes of PSD2 from a market perspective and managed the project which brought figo - as the first PSD2-FinTech in Germany, its payment institution licence. Since August 2018, she has been managing figo's regulatory compliance in the role of Chief Risk Officer (CRO). For the planned merger she was appointed Managing Director of FinReach GmbH in spring 2019. Since 2017, she has also been co-chair of the European FinTech Alliance, which represents the interests of FinTech companies vis-à-vis the EU institutions.
