Dr. Sven von Alemann is an attorney-turned-entrepreneur with 10+ years of experience in IT and technology law. He practised for McDermott Will & Emery for several years in technology, media and telecommunications law. He also worked in the legal departments of technology companies and start-ups, including as Legal Counsel at Fujitsu and Senior Legal Counsel at SAP Hybris. In 2017, Sven co-founded rfrnz, a contract intelligence platform that supports legal and contract professionals in automating contract analysis with artificial intelligence (AI). Sven has been researching on and applying innovations and new technologies in the legal market in the past years. He regularly publishes and holds lectures on these topics, especially on the application of AI in law. Sven holds a PhD from the University of Hanover, an LL.M. from the University of Canterbury (NZ) and an Executive MBA from the Technical University Munich.
