This approach aims to improve threat detection, reduce SOC alert fatigue by prioritizing higher-fidelity risks, and preserve user experience by keeping security evaluations largely in the background.
Access Fabric is positioned as an extension of established frameworks, specifically NIST Zero Trust Architecture and the KuppingerCole Identity Fabric, strengthening continuous signal integration, adaptive policy, and coverage for non-human identities such as IoT, workloads, and agentic AI. Practical scenarios include adapting controls when users transition to public Wi‑Fi, enabling secure partner collaboration via federated identity, supporting crisis-response just-in-time elevation with monitoring and rollback, and mitigating risks from non-deterministic chains of human/workload/AI-agent access.
