TechJutsu is a self-funded, privately held company founded in 2015 in Calgary, Alberta, focused on Contact Center Authentication (CCA) for regulated enterprises, primarily in North America with growing interest in the UK and Europe. CCA extends enterprise identity verification and MFA into voice, help desk, and chat service channels, replacing historically weak contact center practices such as Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA), which relies on personal “security questions” and is highly susceptible to social engineering.
TechJutsu evolved from IAM professional services into product delivery with CallerVerify (launched in 2020 after a financial services engagement) and later expanded to OrgVerify, CHATv, and IAM integration services centered on Okta/Auth0 and Microsoft Entra. Its customer base is concentrated in government, financial services, and healthcare, and it holds SOC 2 certification.
CallerVerify strengthens inbound caller verification by allowing agents to initiate identity verification directly inside existing ITSM and CRM workflows (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, Freshservice, Salesforce) via a Universal Connector browser extension. Agents can leverage the caller’s existing enrolled MFA factors from the organization’s IdP (e.g., push with biometric confirmation, TOTP), enabling privileged actions or delegated approvals only after successful verification. Integrations also extend verification into collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, Slack) and into IVR platforms (NICE CxONe, Amazon Connect, Genesys) earlier in the call flow.
OrgVerify addresses outbound spoofing and vishing by letting organizations cryptographically prove legitimacy independent of phone number or caller ID. Agents share a time-limited code generated in the originating system; recipients validate it in a web app without installing software. Strengths include bidirectional verification and rapid deployment; challenges include limited ecosystem scale, the need for broader IdP interoperability, recipient participation, and no deepfake audio detection.
