Michael Schrank

Michael Schrank is a tech-savvy, pragmatic CISO and cybersecurity advisor with extensive experience in global enterprise environments and high-growth ecosystems. 

Born in 1985, his passion for technology led him to study Computer Science at the University of Passau. 

Building on his background leading global cyber security practices at Daimler AG and serving as Group CISO at adidas, Michael expanded his focus during a parental leave toward advising startups, scaleups, and venture capital firms. He strongly advocates for positioning information security as a strategic business enabler — prioritizing real-world threat mitigation and pragmatic solutions over rigid bureaucracy.
