Akihiko Nawashiro

Akihiko (Aki) is a Product Lead for Decentralized Identity at DNP, spearheading the development and delivery of Verifiable Credential services. With a Master of Science in Mathematics, he brings a rigorous understanding of cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to the architectural design of next-generation trust frameworks.

His work focuses on bridging these deep technical foundations with intuitive, agent-based user experiences, ensuring that decentralized identity remains both secure and accessible for real-world deployment. A recognized leader in multi-stakeholder initiatives, Aki collaborates with international partners to align product strategy and operational models that drive global interoperability. He is based in Tokyo, Japan.
