Tim Lipphardt

Tim heads the consulting department of amiconsult, a full-service provider in the field of Identity and Access Management. For the past eight years, he has been helping organisations set their IAM agendas, design future-proof solution architectures and navigate the complex market of IAM technologies.

With a background in industrial engineering and a strong manufacturing influence, he knows that in IT (almost) anything is technically possible - most of the laws are made by people. It is this focus on people that has always fascinated him about Identity and Access Management. As a passionate pragmatist, he skillfully plays efficiency and effectiveness off against each other and would like to see more modesty from the IT industry from time to time.

When he's not talking about IAM, he's renovating his house, playing with his two daughters or saving the world on one digital battlefield or another.
