Yasuyuki Imai

Yasuyuki Imai is the Head of Business Development for Decentralized Identifier and Verifiable Credential at MUTB.

Starting in 2022, he was focusing on DID/VC, conducting research, technical PoC, and business PoC. Among these efforts, he identified the issue of interoperability between various DID/VC platforms. To address these, he established the DID/VC Co-creation Consortium in 2023, aiming to create a society where Verifiable Credentials can be widely used.

In Dec 2024, the method of transaction confirmation under the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds using DID/VC was selected for the Financial Services Agency's Fintech PoC.
