As the Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder of CodeShield, Manuel Benz spearheads efforts to strengthen IAM privilege escalation detection in cloud infrastructures. In his academic journey at University Paderborn, Manuel focused extensively on elevating Java code vulnerability detection through the integration of static and dynamic program analysis. During this period, he took the lead in developing and maintaining Soot, the leading static code analysis tool for Java. Today, Manuel channels his expertise towards cloud security, with a specific focus on fortifying AWS IAM setups in the public cloud.
