Rajeev Nagar has a proven track-record as a technologist, leader, & entrepreneur, with substantial experience conceptualizing & delivering innovative software products & services, as well as growing and managing high-performing global teams. Currently, Rajeev provides product leadership focused on prevention and response - operational & user security as well as incident management - comprising both Microsoft cloud identity offerings (Azure AD & Microsoft Account). Immediately prior to this, Rajeev provided architectural leadership for the big-data analytics platform delivering deep customer insights for Office 365. Until recently, Rajeev led product management and development activities for the Networking & Platform team at Microsoft and was responsible for networking solutions & infrastructural technologies powering all consumer & server/data-center OS platforms, devices, as well as cloud infrastructure & services. In the past, Rajeev's responsibilities at MSFT have included strategic, business, product management, & development leadership for core data storage, as well as platform high-availability solutions foundational to mission-critical application deployments. Rajeev's prior entrepreneurial initiatives include founding-CEO & VP-Engineering of Kuokoa Networks delivering enterprise-focused networked-storage solutions, as well as CEO of NTCS delivering data-storage, collaboration, and security solutions. Rajeev has also held technical leadership positions with Hewlett-Packard and IBM. He is credited with multiple (12+) patents and publications, including a seminal book on file-system development. Rajeev holds a BE - Computer Engineering, MS - Computer Sc., and a MBA from UC Berkeley.
