Laura Coffey is the Director of Policy & Strategic Accounts at Onfido. She worked at the Prime Minister's Delivery Unit and Prime Minister's Strategy Unit under the Blair and Brown administrations respectively, served as Deputy Director of Digital for the Cabinet Office under the Coalition administration, and has spoken at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government global conference on digital. Laura has helped to launch a new bank on the high street, founded a social-impact EdTech startup that secured investment from The Big Issue, and built out a new FinTech practice for Tech Nation. Digitally orientated with a particular interest at the nexus of technology, entrepreneurship and government, she joined Onfido in 2018 to lead work on decentralised identity.
