Luca Boldrin

Luca Boldrin investigates innovation trends and manages research initiatives for InfoCert – a large European Trust Service Provider - after a career across different public and private organizations (National Research Council, Telecom Italia, SAS Institute, InfoCamere) in different roles of responsibility. His core competences are on trust services, identity management, distributed ledgers, security (CISM). He has been involved as a subject expert in many projects, both at national and international levels, with a specific focus on the implementation of cross border digital solutions; he represented InfoCert in several international fora and events, including EU expert groups, ISO, ETSI. Pursuing InfoCert’s objective of contributing to the next generation of Trust Services, Luca is in charge of InfoCert participation to Sovrin activities. Since 2005 he has been continuously involved in standardization activities related to digital signature and trust services, taking part to several task forces as an expert on digital signature, electronic identity and electronic delivery, blockchain. Luca received a M.Sc summa cum laude in Computer Science and a Ph.D in Computational Mathematics.
