Brendan M. Peter

Brendan M. Peter currently serves as Director of Global Government Relations for CA Technologies, and has more than 15 years of senior-level experience in public policy, business development, and government affairs. Brendan focuses on public sector public policy issues globally, with particular focus on security, cloud computing, and government procurement Prior to his position at CA Technologies, Brendan held Executive-level positions focusing on public sector IT issues at LexisNexis, Daon, and ITAA (now TechAmerica), where he focused extensively on identity management and homeland security policy and IT issues. Brendan also formerly served as Vice President at the Jefferson Consulting Group. Brendan currently serves as Chairman of TechAmerica’s Homeland Security Committee, and served for four years as Chairman of the Association’s Identity Management Committee. He also serves on the Advisory Board of James Madison University’s Institute for Infrastructure and Information Assurance. He also recently served as a Deputy Commissioner on the TechAmerica Foundation’s Commission on the Leadership Opportunity in US Deployment of the Cloud (CLOUD2). Brendan received his bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and his master’s degree from Georgetown University.
